Services
I provide psychotherapy services for individual adults and couples. I use an integrative approach and collaborate with you to develop a course of therapy that attends to your unique needs and hopes for change. Sessions are typically scheduled on a weekly basis for 50 minutes. Extended or twice weekly sessions are offered when needed. All sessions take place via Telehealth.
Areas of focus include:
Anxiety/Panic and Depression
Adult ADHD
Life Transitions (divorce/separation, dating, career changes, becoming a caregiver, parenting)
Acute and Chronic Illness, including chronic pain
Mind/Body Connection, Intuitive Eating and body trust
EMDR
Inclusion:
Everyone is welcome in my practice. Using a social justice lens, I accept all sexual orientations, relationship configurations (poly/kink/ENM aware and competent), gender definitions (or lack thereof), ages, abilities, races, cultures, and life preferences. Please feel free to ask me any questions about what this means for you.
Fees:
My fee is $225 for an individual session/ $275 for couples. I do offer some sliding scale appointments for clients with financial need (based on availability). Please call if you have questions about fees.
Insurance:
I am not in-network with any insurance companies. However, if you have a PPO plan I may be able to assist you in getting reimbursed for a portion of your out-of-pocket costs.
If you have a health savings account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA), you can use those funds to pay for therapy, which is a qualified medical expense.
Good Faith Estimate:
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance, or who are not using insurance to cover any portion of the cost, an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, which includes mental health care. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
